Sgroppino

Ingredients:
1 cup chilled Prosecco (Italian sparkling white wine)
2 tablespoons chilled vodka
1/3 cup frozen lemon sorbet
1/4 teaspoon chopped fresh mint leaves

Directions: Pour the Prosecco and vodka into 2 Champagne flutes, diving equally. Spoon a scoop of sorbet into each flute. Sprinkle with mint and serve immediately

 

 

Negroni

Ingredients:
- 1 oz gin
- 1 oz Campari
- 3/4 oz Carpana Antica

Combine all ingredients in an ice filled shaker. Shake until well chilled and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange peel.

 

 

Dry Manhattan

2 1/2 ounces blended whiskey
3/4 ounces dry vermouth
Dash Angostura bitters
3 or 4 ice cubes
Lemon peel or olive

Garnish: Cherry
Combine the whiskey, vermouth, dash of bitters and ice cubes in a mixing glass. Garnish with the cherry.

 

Sazerac

Ingredients:
* 3 oz rye whiskey
* 3/4 oz simple syrup
* Peychaud bitters to taste
* absinthe
* lemon twist for garnish

(1) Chill an old-fashioned glass by filling it with ice. (2) In a separate mixing glass, muddle the simple syrup and Peychaud bitters together. (3) Add the rye whiskey and ice to the bitters mixture, stir. (4) Discard the ice in the chilled glass and rinse it with absinthe by pouring a small amount into the glass, swirling it around and discarding the liquid. (5) Strain the whiskey mixture from the mixing glass into the old fashioned glass. (6) Garnish with a lemon twist, the twist should not be dropped into the glass itself.
